Rip's is known for their Family Restaurant, expansive Fine Wine and Spirit Shoppe, Delicatessent and Lodging. All located conveniently between Washington, Baltimore and Annapolis in the town of Bowie, MD. The facility was fashioned after the horse country that once surrounded it. Bowie, in it's hayday, was home to the racetrack. Stepping inside the restaurant is like stepping back in time. The booths are constructed like horse stalls and the decor is vintage.
Our business philosophy is also vintage-
FOOD- Fresh ingredients, tried and true recipes and making it from scratch. This may take a little longer but we wouldn't have it any other way.
CUSTOMER SERVICE- From the smile at the door to the Thank you as you leave. Our customers are treated as family. So many are known by first names. As for new guests, they too are welcomed with open arms.
LOCAL OWNERS- The staff, management and owners are from the community. Generation after generation have worked for the RIP'S family.
